Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of the Zedgram website and app — publishing, reading, browsing and buying. By creating an account or using the platform in any way, you acknowledge and accept these Terms in full. We have written them in plain language because they are the contract of trust between us.

Last updated: November 5, 2026 Applies to the website, the app and all services

01 Acceptance of the Terms

Welcome to Zedgram. These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") are the agreement between you and the Zedgram platform ("the platform" or "we") governing your rights and obligations when using the website, the app or any service we provide. By using the platform — as a visitor or a registered user — you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms in full and agree to be bound by them.

If you do not agree with any provision, please stop using the platform. Note also that continuing to use the platform after we publish any amendment to the Terms (under Section 15) constitutes acceptance of that amendment.

Language of the agreement. These Terms are published in both Arabic and English, each for its audience. Should any difference in interpretation arise, the Arabic version prevails.

02 Definitions

  • "The platform" the Zedgram website and app and all services and features offered through them: publishing, browsing, interaction, wallet and paid content.
  • "Publisher" any user who creates an account and publishes content in any format: article, gallery, video, audio, recipe, quiz or poll.
  • "Reader" or "user" anyone who browses, reads, interacts with or purchases content, registered or not.
  • "Content" everything a publisher posts — text, images, video, audio and other elements — and everything users add, such as comments and reactions.
  • "Paid content" content for which the publisher receives, directly or indirectly, any consideration — including sponsored content, sponsorships, promotion, paid product reviews and affiliate links — as well as premium content sold to readers on the platform for a one-time payment.
  • "Intellectual property" every moral or economic right vested in content: authorship, copyright, trademarks, images, designs, audio and video.
  • "Moderation" the platform's authority to review content, verify its compliance with these Terms, and take disable, delete or suspension actions upon violation.

03 Account & Registration

Publishing, interacting and purchasing require an account. When registering you agree to provide accurate, truthful and current information, to keep your login credentials confidential, and to bear full responsibility for all activity carried out through your account.

  • One account per person; fake accounts and impersonation of others are not allowed.
  • You must be at least 13 years old; users below the legal age in their country need a guardian's consent.
  • Notify us immediately through the contact page if you suspect your account has been compromised.
  • The platform may suspend or cancel accounts that violate these Terms or were created for abusive purposes.

04 Content Ownership — the Platform's First Rule

Content is fully owned by its publisher

What you publish on Zedgram remains yours alone: the texts, images, video, audio, recipes and quizzes — all of it. The platform never asks you to assign ownership, and never asks for any license beyond what is necessary to display and run your content within its services.

  • You retain full authorship and copyright in your content.
  • You grant the platform a non-exclusive, revocable license to display and distribute the content within the platform for operational purposes only.
  • When the content or your account is deleted, this license ends and the platform holds no further right over it.
  • You are free to publish your content anywhere else, at any time.

In return — because the platform is a public space its readers trust — the platform retains the full and absolute right, without prejudice to your ownership, to disable or delete any post that is inappropriate, violates these Terms, or harms users or the platform, under the moderation and enforcement rules of Sections 8 and 9. It may also refuse to publish content that does not meet the quality standards, foremost the real-value standard for paid content (Section 6).

You alone are responsible for your content: you warrant that you own the rights to publish it or are licensed to do so, and that it does not infringe third-party rights or break the law. The platform bears no responsibility for content published by its publishers; it provides the governing framework and the moderation over it.

05 General Publishing Rules

When you publish on Zedgram you take part in building a space whose audience deserves trust. Therefore we ask every publisher to:

  • Be original: publish your own work. Reposting others' work in full without permission or honest attribution violates these Terms.
  • Be accurate: verify the information, news and figures you publish, and update whatever changes or proves wrong.
  • Categorize correctly: publish each piece in its correct format (article, video, audio, recipe or quiz) and use titles and tags that honestly reflect the content.
  • Respect the audience: never publish content prohibited under Section 7, and never use deceptive tactics to farm views or clicks.
  • Disclose: if your content is paid or promotional in any way, disclose it clearly regardless of how small the consideration is (details in Section 6).

06 Paid Content — Special Terms

This section is the cornerstone of Zedgram's policy toward paid content. Read it fully before publishing anything you have been, or will be, paid for — no matter how small.

What counts as "paid content"?

Content is paid if you received — or agreed to receive — directly or indirectly, in cash, in kind, in services, in discounts or in any other benefit — a consideration tied to publishing or promoting it. This includes, without limitation: brand-sponsored content, sponsorships, paid product reviews, affiliate links that earn you commission, and the promotion of your own products, services or business — in addition to premium content you sell to readers on the platform itself for a one-time payment. One rule governs all: where there is consideration, disclosure is mandatory and real value is the condition.

Mandatory disclosure

The disclosure must be clear, explicit and at the very top of the content: who paid or provided the benefit, and the nature of the relationship. Hiding it at the end of the video, between the lines or behind a link is not acceptable. A sentence such as "This content is sponsored by…" or "I earn a commission on the links below" is an example of proper disclosure — written in the same language as the content itself.

The real-value standard

Zedgram does not accept paid content becoming a disguised ad in the clothing of an article or video. Every paid piece must give the reader genuine standalone value: knowledge they learn, a skill they gain, a useful experience, or clean entertainment — its essence must not be "buy this". We evaluate paid content against one question: would the reader still benefit from it if they completely ignored the fact that it is paid? If the answer is no, the content does not qualify.

  • Honesty in reviews: whoever reviews a product has actually used it, and presents its flaws as well as its strengths.
  • Evidence before claims: every promise of a result, number or comparison rests on a verifiable source or real experience.
  • Independence of opinion: accepting payment does not mean selling your opinion; if you cannot say what you truly believe, decline the content.
  • Value before promotion: the backbone of the content is informational or entertaining — promotion is a part of it, not all of it.
  • Premium content sold on the platform: its depth, length and quality must be proportionate to its stated price.

Platform review and rights

All forms of paid content are subject to platform review — before or after publication — to verify disclosure, the real-value standard, and compliance with the prohibitions. The platform has the full right to: require the disclosure be completed or proven-wrong claims corrected; refuse to publish non-compliant paid content; disable or delete it after publication; and revoke the ability to publish paid content from a violating account. These decisions are at the platform's discretion under these Terms, and you have the right to appeal under Section 9.

Publisher responsibilities in paid content

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the claims, promises and information in your paid content — before your readers, third parties and regulatory authorities.
  • You must comply with the advertising and consumer-protection laws of your country and your audience's countries when publishing promotional content.
  • Do not exploit the audience's trust: fields such as health, medicine and investment demand extra care, and clarity that the content does not replace consulting licensed professionals.
  • The general prohibitions of Section 7 apply to paid content with maximum strictness.
Paid-content prohibitions. Strictly forbidden: undisclosed sponsored content; fake or paid reviews disguised as genuine experiences; unproven health or financial claims; hiding family or financial ties with the promoted party; deliberately beautifying defects to close a deal; targeting minors with promotion; and content that makes purchasing a product the condition for learning information that should be public.

07 Publishing Prohibitions

To protect its audience and its committed publishers, the platform bans publishing any content falling under any of the following — regardless of format, language or audience size. The ban also covers attempts to bypass it through tricks and misleading tags:

Illegal content

Anything violating the applicable laws and regulations in the platform's country, or leading to such a violation.

Hate speech & discrimination

Incitement against a person or group for their race, religion, gender, orientation or affiliation, and supremacist or ethnic-cleansing content.

Adult & explicit content

Explicit or suggestive sexual material, and the sexualized exploitation of bodies for commercial bait.

Violence & terrorism

Glorifying or promoting violence or terrorism, murder and torture scenes, and instruction on making weapons or explosives.

Misinformation

Fabricated news, rumors, and health or medical conspiracy theories contradicted by science and accredited sources.

Fraud & scams

Pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick fantasies, identity theft, and electronic fraud in all its forms.

IP infringement

Publishing others' texts, images, clips or software without permission or license — including protected content of other platforms.

Malware

Posting links or files that spread viruses and spyware, or that are used for hacking and cyberattacks.

Spam & duplication

Mass-reposting the same content, foreign tags, and promotional comments on others' content.

Impersonation

Running an account in the name of a person or entity without right, or claiming a false affiliation with figures or institutions.

Gambling

Gambling sites and betting games, and analogous prohibited financial activities.

Selling prohibited goods

Promoting or selling legally banned products and services: weapons, drugs, organs, endangered species.

Exploitation of minors

Any content that abuses or exploits children, including involving them in commercial content without safeguards.

Inciting communal strife

Spreading sectarianism, igniting communal and tribal conflicts, and inciting violence against any group.

Abusing the platform itself is equally prohibited: causing technical disruption, attempting to breach the systems, extracting data automatically without authorization, or manipulating the earning and payment systems.

08 Intellectual Property & Reporting

Zedgram respects everyone's intellectual property and expects the same from its publishers. The platform's design, logo, databases and software belong to the platform and may not be copied or commercially imitated.

If you own a right and a user has published material infringing it, notify us through the contact page with proof of your ownership, a specific description of the infringing content, and a link to it. We receive serious notices, examine them, and carry out appropriate removal actions under our repeat-infringer policy. The same procedure applies if you are a publisher whose rights were infringed inside the platform.

09 Moderation & Enforcement

We enforce these Terms fairly and consistently. The action escalates with the severity and repetition of the violation as follows:

1
Warning

A written notice for first-time minor violations, requesting correction or removal within a deadline.

2
Content disabled

The violating post is hidden from the audience until corrected or removed, with the publisher notified.

3
Content deleted

The post is permanently removed once the violation is confirmed or the deadline lapses without correction.

4
Temporary suspension

Publishing and interaction are suspended temporarily for repeated or serious violations.

5
Permanent ban

The account is closed permanently for severe violations: fraud, exploitation of minors, impersonation, repeated IP infringement.

In every case — except for illegal content, whose measures we execute immediately under the law — you may appeal through the contact page within 14 days of the action, and we carefully review serious cases.

10 Cookies & Data Usage

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the platform and improve your experience: remembering your preferred language and display mode (light/dark), keeping you signed in, and understanding which parts of the platform are used most. For the complete details of cookie types, purposes, retention periods and how to control them from your browser, see the Privacy Policy.

We also process limited usage data — the pages you visit and your interactions — to improve the service and prevent abuse. All processing of your data is governed by these Terms and the Privacy Policy together; the latter is a companion document of these Terms and an integral part of them.

11 Third Parties & Advertising

Published content may contain links to external websites; the platform is not responsible for their content or policies, and disclosing them is the publisher's duty under Section 6.

The platform works with trusted service providers: payment processors, analytics services, and advertising networks — including Google — to serve ads and run the service. These partners use their own cookies under their own policies, detailed in the Privacy Policy.

Advertising rule. Publishers and users may not encourage, request or manipulate clicks on ads. The platform applies its ad partners' policies — including Google AdSense policies — to all content where an ad appears, and the ad is removed from any content that violates them.

12 Disclaimer

The platform provides its services "as is" and "as available", and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Published content expresses its publishers, not the platform, and its accuracy is its publisher's responsibility (Section 4). No content — including health, financial and legal content — replaces consulting licensed professionals.

13 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, and its total liability shall in no case exceed the amount you actually paid to the platform during the twelve months preceding the claim.

14 Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from the account settings or via the contact page; your content stops appearing on the platform while remaining your property (Section 4). The platform may terminate your account for violating these Terms under the enforcement ladder (Section 9).

15 Changes to the Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time to keep pace with the service's evolution or changing legal requirements. We publish the amended version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date above, and highlight material changes through in-platform notices. Your continued use of the platform after an amendment means you accept it.

16 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws and regulations in force in the country from which the platform operates. Should any dispute arise, we commit to good-faith resolution first: write to us via the contact page and give us the chance to address the matter before any legal action. Failing that, the competent courts at the platform's place of management have jurisdiction.

17 Contact Us

Your questions about these Terms are always welcome. Reach us via the contact page and we will answer as quickly as we can.
